100 Days of Happiness – Day 100

It’s officially 2017 from where I am right now. Happy New Year everyone!

2016 might not ended as I expected but I am ready to welcome this 2017 with a joyful and hopeful heart❤

My 100 days of Happiness challenge has finally ended but this doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop writing. This challenge somehow helped me, again. Because it let me see the good in even the smallest things.

There’s always a reason to smile, to be happy. And sometimes that happiness just comes from within ourselves.

Forgive. Forget. Move on. Smile. Be happy.

Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017.

100 Days of Happiness – Day 99

It’s almost end of the year.

I arrived home at past 8 in the morning. I slept for almost four hours. When I woke up, I wasn’t feeling well. I couldn’t figure out what was hurting. All I knew was I wasn’t okay.

My sister decided to pay a visit to Zhia, my brother’s daughter who always cried whenever she saw me.

Good thing when she saw me today, she didn’t cry. She even wanted me to carry her. Wooooo. ❤

We stayed at their place for almost three hours. By the time we got to my Aunt’s place, it was already past 5 in the afternoon. And I was really feeling exhausted I wasn’t able to go to my massage appointment.

I tried eating dinner but just minutes after I ate, I vomited. So I went to bed early.

Hope I feel better soon.

100 Days of Happiness – Day 98

Last working day for the year!! My teammates and I were all feeling lazy. We went out for lunch then I bought books. I’m back to my goals!! This time I won’t let anyone distract me anymore. Can’t wait for 2017!!

I was hesitant to go to the province and celebrate New Year with my cousins because I was really feeling exhausted. So I told my cousin if I get a bus ticket then I’d go home but if not, then I’d just stay in Manila. Well. The sign led me home. ❤

100 Days of Happiness – Day 97

Back to work. I almost forgot about my dinner date with my college friends. I woke up at 5:30 in the morning. Good thing my friend sent me a message on Facebook. I forced myself to sleep again so I won’t be too early at the office today.

It was another busy day at work. I had lunch at around three in the afternoon. Then I went to National Bookstore to buy new books. I’m already starting to plan my 2017. I’m so excited. I’m gonna go back to reading books.

Then I got out of the office at 6:30 in the evening. I told my friends to just meet me at UP Town because I didn’t want to wait for them at Eastwood.

We talked about our college days while having our dinner. God. I missed them. It’s good to see familiar faces once in a while❤

100 Days of Happiness – Days 94, 95 & 96

I was excited for Christmas. Always been. But this year, something’s different. It didn’t feel like Christmas. I don’t know if it’s just me, if there was something wrong with me. Or we were just really too busy preparing for my cousin’s wedding. Or. I don’t know. Is the world changing?

So yeah. We didn’t have much activity for Christmas. We didn’t even have our tradition of opening of gifts(so yeah until now the gifts are still under the Christmas tree, unopened). We had party at the bride’s place. I think it was a tradition in provinces where there would be dances and interviews for the couple. So we were there from like 5 in the afternoon until around 10 in the evening.

Day after, wedding day. We woke up at 7 in the morning. Took a bath and grabbed a quick meal then went to the hotel where we were supposed to meet the makeup artists. But they weren’t there yet when we arrived so we still had time to go to the dress shop to have Anne’s(my niece) dress adjusted.

By the time we came back to the hotel, they were just starting to do the makeup of the other bridesmaids. In short, we were behind schedule. There were other activities that were skipped due to lack of time.

The actually ceremony was supposed to start at 2PM, but we were fifteen minutes late. There were other issues and problems during the wedding day itself but at least we all got through it. My cousin is now a married man❤

After the reception, there was still an after-party at my cousin’s place. There was this guy… And the rest was history. Lol we went to bed at past 1 in the morning.

I woke up at 7 in the morning the following day(which was today) because we were headed to Manila. We were just on a trip the whole day.

I came home at around 9 in the evening. And I still have to report to work tomorrow.

Exhausted. But it was fuuuun. Mini vacay at the province❤

100 Days of Happiness – Day 93

I slept the whole trip. When I woke up, I was almost home. It was past 8 in the morning when I arrived home. They were all surprised because they thought I didn’t get a ticket and they already accepted the fact that I won’t be celebrating this year’s Christmas with them.

I ate breakfast, which was the burger I bought last night at the terminal because I was too afraid to get stuck in traffic. Good thing I didn’t. After eating, I played with my nieces for a few minutes then showed my sister the gifts that I still had to wrap. But I was too tired and sleepy(I didn’t know why since I was asleep my whole trip) so I said I would just take a nap. When I woke up, I thought it was already 2020. Lol. My supposed to be nap turned into a five-hour sleep. My sister wrapped all the gifts, my cute baby niece was sleeping beside me, they already had their lunch and I got texts from my cousin looking for me because we were supposed to have our rehearsal for her brother’s wedding on Monday.

I got immediately, ate my lunch and took a bath. In less than an hour, I was already on my way to my cousin’s place. I went straight to the dress shop to fit our gowns.

Adter fitting the gowns, I went to my high school friend’s house to give my gifts for her and her children. I love how this season is a season of giving❤

Christmas Eve❤ I sang for almost five hours. What’s new?

Happy Videoke Awareness Day❤

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎉

100 Days of Happiness – Days 90, 91 and 92

I’ve been MIA for three days. Been occupied with a lot of work at the office. And I’ve been trying to get at least 7 hours of sleep a day. So I didn’t really have time to write.

Yesterday was our team’s Christmas Party. We spent the first two hours at Ace Water Spa. It was relaxing. Then we had dinner at Tomahawk just near the Water Spa. It was a fun night. I got Starbucks Card with 300 load and Starbucks mug. ❤

Friday. I only had four hours of sleep. Even though my day didn’t start good, I still managed to get through this day. And now I’m currently at the terminal waiting for my bus going home. ❤

It’s almost Christmas!! Happy holidays everyone!
